stephanie iervoline / siren dance company
Stephanie D. Iervoline is the founder and artistic director of Siren Dance Company, based in Cleveland, OH. Although only together since October of 2005, Siren Dance Company has performed in several large venues in the greater Cleveland area such as the Agora Theatre, EJ Thomas Hall, and the Plain Dealer Pavilion. Stephanie is an alumni of Kent State University, and SDC is made up of KSU alums and current students. www.myspace.com/sirendancecompany

"Cleveland-based Siren Dance Company under the direction of Stephanie Iervoline joins the Columbus brigade on Friday night only, presenting excerpts of their newest evening-length work, Elephant, that explores the ways in which people ignore the obvious problems in their lives, coupled with another of Iervoline’s dances for eight, Man’s World."


anna sullivan / anatomical scenario
Anatomical Scenario presents Anna and The Annadroids: The Robots' Dream Tour. This production has been hand picked to perform as part of the New York International Fringe Festival this August! The show will take place at Dance New Amsterdam; all dates are listed on website. Anatomical Scenario is happy to be able to present the entire show before they depart for FringeNYC at the OSU summer concert series. www.anatomicalscenario.com

"Anna Sullivan stimulates and surprises audiences with her segmented choreography and stunning ward of psycho-doll dancers. Sullivan gives a sneak peak to her newest multi-media work, Anna and The Annadriods: The Robots Dream Tour scheduled to premiere at the New York Fringe Festival in August."


amiti perry
A native Texan, Amiti received her BA in Dance from the University of North Texas in 1998. Upon graduating, she moved to Ithaca, New York where she choreographed and performed original works and as a guest artist with Rachel Lampert and Dancers. From 1999-2003, she worked and lived in New York City during which, she performed, taught, assisted and designed nationally and internationally with Skip Costa/CORE movement Project-NYC. In 2000, she co-founded DIPdance company with friend and collaborator Coco Loupe; with which she has presented and performed works in New York, Texas, Louisiana and Ohio. In 2003, Amiti relocated from to Columbus, OH, where she is currently finishing a MFA in Choreography from the Department of Dance at The Ohio State University. (more...)

"Summer Series producer, Amiti Perry , in collaboration with composer David Morneau and his animated distortions, presents her newest work, A/break:1, an energized concoction of angles, shifts and fierce diversions. This trio, featuring Perry, Ali Simon and Amy Campbell, will be further developed and premiered in NYC in October 2006."

"Anupa Mirle
travels in from Cincinnati for a Thursday night performance of Ode to Woman-Shakti, revealing a view of a woman’s reality in a thought-provoking and powerful work with threads of classical and contemporary Indian dance."


sara mitchell
Sara Mitchell graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a degree in dance. She has performed and choreographed in North Carolina, Australia, Philadelphia and most recently Columbus. This fall she will be pursing her Masters in Choreography at the Ohio State University.

"Sarah Mitchell's contemporary choreography provides an interesting look at the constant push/pull in a faltering relationship, in a new duet performed by Emily Balf and Ben Wheless."
